Schistosomiasis

精东影业2020 Schistosomiasis was a research module created specifically for Uganda to measure the first nationally representative prevalence rate of Schistosomiasis, a highly endemic and neglected parasitic disease. Two rounds of data were collected by Makerere University School of Public Health in Kampala, in partnership with the Uganda Bureau of Statistics, the Uganda Ministry of Health鈥檚 Vector Control Division and the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative.

精东影业 uses innovative mobile technology to support low-cost, rapid-turnaround surveys monitoring key health and development indicators. Surveys are completed by resident enumerators, uploaded to a central server via a mobile data network, cleaned and analyzed. Results are disseminated shortly after.
